"Spider Veins," a type of varicose veins, afflict 80 million Americans, mostly women. Seldom has such a widespread disease been so misunderstood and ignored. Spider a veins are not just a cosmetic concern. They also cause achiness, tiredness, fatigue, itching, burning, and feelings of heaviness in the legs. These veins, however, can be treated with sclerotherapy and are preventable in some cases. In other words, women don't have to live with spider veins. Sclerotherapy consists of a series of treatments. First, tiny injections of an FDA-approved medication close off damaged veins. In subsequent treatments, trapped blood is removed. After each treatment medically prescribed stockings help seal vacated veins, and daily walks help reroute blood to deeper, healthy veins. Treated veins are permanently removed.

New Hope Vein Center Program
How many injections are done in a treatment?
Our treatment consists of 30 to 60 injections per treatment. Other programs may only do a few injections
per treatment. This results in spending a lot of money for very little work, prolonged treatment that may take
several months to complete, or both.
How many treatments are usually required?
The number varies from patient to patient, although four to six treatments per leg is the average.
Will my daily activities be affected by this treatment?
With the exception of strenuous
exercise, our patients are encouraged to stay as active as possible.
Will my health insurance cover the cost of treatment?
Although many patients suffer symptoms
from vein disease, health insurance does not cover the cost of treatments.
Is an estimate given for the number of treatments needed to clear up my legs?
Our program gives you a written cost and treatment estimate. Without knowing the number of treatments
needed, you can't compare costs.
